John F. Kennedy Memorial
Built as a memorial to "A Father's Love", this granite and cast bronze structure was dedicated on June 17, 2007. Overlooking the Monongahela River, it is adjacent to the Mon River Rail Trail, the Tugboat Depot Playground, and Riverfront Park.
Star City Veteran's Memorial
Dedicated on Memorial Day, May 31, 2011 this granite monument honors Star City's members of the Armed Forces.
Tugboat Depot, a "community built" playground, was a collaborative effort of the Town of Star City, Morgantown North Rotary, and local residents. Adjacent to the Mon River Rail Trail, there are tables available for picnicking and modern restrooms.
The Star City Municipal Building hosts a modest collection of glassware on the main floor. The acquisition of the collection was spearheaded by the late Merwin R. Davis, Jr. a long-time Star City Councilman and former Mayor. Glassware produced in West Virginia is represented by examples from Davis-Lynch Glass, Blenko Glass, Hinkle Glassworks, Morgantown Glass, Seneca Glass, Gentile Glass, and Gibson Glass as well as glassware from other sources.
